The H eavy E Xpanded M obility T actical T ruck ( HEMTT ) is a supply vehicle of the US Army , which in a big way in the Gulf Wars was used and many in this role older trucks replaced types.
Since 1982, the supplies Oshkosh Truck Corporation in Wisconsin ( USA ) the HEMTT in large numbers to the US Army (original name: H eavy E xpandable M ultipurpose T actical T ruck). The internal model name is M977 A2 Series (formerly M977 Series ). The HEMTT is a strong 4-axle multi-purpose truck built in different versions, which has been the backbone of the Army's supply units since the Gulf Wars.
