Hedwig Eleonora Church
Hedwig Eleonora Church is the name of several church buildings in Sweden and Finland named after Hedwig Eleonora von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf (1636–1715) :
- The Hedwig Eleonora Church in Karlskrona was inaugurated in 1681 while the king's widow was still alive, but was then replaced by the Friedrichskirche in 1744 .
- In 1686 the church of Tornio was consecrated and named after her.
- The Hedvig Eleonora Church in Stockholm was inaugurated in 1737, posthumously named after her and still bears their names today.
