Hedwig Hübsch (before 1896 - after 1908) was an opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Hübsch received her training from Louise Dustmann in Vienna. After graduating from the Conservatory, she found engagement in Gdansk, where her talent received decisive encouragement. Then she came to the court theater in Mannheim in 1896 and moved from there to Düsseldorf in 1899. She then worked as the first opera soubrette at the Theater des Westens in Berlin until at least 1902 . 1904 say it in the Residenz Theater in Kassel. In 1908 she was still performed as a singer at the Ducal Court Theater in Braunschweig.

"Ännchen", "Zerline", "Mignon", "Madelaine" ( Postillon ) etc. were among her most popular games. Her pure tone, the freshness and smoothness of her voice, the clear, understandable text pronunciation and the pleasant presentation were praised.
