Heidelberg History Association
The Heidelberger Geschichtsverein eV is a history association . It was founded in 1993 and is based in Heidelberg . The association has published the yearbook: Heidelberg since 1996 . On the history of the city . Lectures, guided tours and excursions are offered.
The purpose is to research and present the history of the city of Heidelberg and its districts as well as the prehistory and early history in its district, to arouse public interest in the local and regional history and to provide a forum for interested citizens and members of the association to offer in this sense. The history association seeks contact with other cultural institutions in the city and the surrounding area.
