Heike Dörrenbächer

Heike Dörrenbächer (* 1966 in Nuremberg ) is a German political scientist .

Career

Dörrenbächer studied political science, history and Slavic studies at the Free University of Berlin and received his doctorate in 1996. She was deputy director of the European Academy Berlin and research assistant at the German Society for Foreign Policy . At the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom , she was head of the Latin America & Africa department and project manager for Ukraine and Belarus. She was the managing director of the German Society for Eastern European Studies and is head of the Department of Commemorative Culture and Education at the German War Graves Commission .
