Heikki Ylikangas
Heikki Ylikangas (born November 6, 1937 in Ylihärmä ) is a Finnish historian .
Life
In his research, Ylikangas mainly deals with critical points in Finnish history. In order to disseminate his research results, he sometimes used unusual ways and wrote dramas and fictional prose.
His first work was published in 1974 and, like his second work, dealt with a social phenomenon in Ostrobothnia in the 19th century. Other work concerned the relationship between secular violence and a religious movement. A play written by him from 1989 dealt with the winter war . In 1993 he published on the Finnish Civil War of 1918.
