Heinrich Bichler
Heinrich Bichler , also called Hans Bichler , Heinrich Büchler or Hans Büchler , (first mentioned in 1466/1467; last mentioned in 1497) was a Bernese painter .
In 1472 he painted a picture of Saint Sulpitius for the Carthusian von Thorberg , in 1478 two panels with the imperial coat of arms for two gates of the city of Freiburg im Üechtland and in 1480 for the Freiburg council chamber a large-format picture of the battle of Murten , which has been in existence since the middle of the 16th century is lost. Bichler was Hans Fries' teacher .
