Heinrich Bruckhoff

Heinrich Bruckhoff (born October 14, 1892 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ; † December 8, 1956 there ) was a German trade unionist and later a politician of the ( SPD ). From 1947 to 1956 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.

education and profession

Bruckhoff attended elementary school and then worked as a moulder, and from 1909 to 1933 he was a union secretary. During the time of National Socialism he was briefly imprisoned in the Oranienburg-Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

politics

After the Second World War he joined the SPD and in 1945 became a member of the citizens' council of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr. From 1946 to 1954, Bruckhoff was a council member and SPD parliamentary group leader in the city. In addition, he was since the first electoral term, from April 20, 1947, a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. In all three state elections he was directly elected to parliament in constituency 068 Mülheim (Ruhr) -Nord. He was a member of the state parliament until his death in December 1956.
