Heinz Eil

Heinz Eil (* 1920; † 1993) was a German sports reporter and sports director of the Hessischer Rundfunk .

Life

Heinz Eil commented on tennis, football and other sports on television. He also moderated football matches at the ARD Bundesliga conference for Hessischer Rundfunk. He was not one of the "barkers", but rather calmly commented on the event. In an investigation, he was identified as a rather slow speaker. Together with Erwin Dittberner and Joachim Böttcher he wrote the book Die Sportwelt holds its breath , which was published in 1968 by Weidlich Verlag, Frankfurt am Main.
