Heinz Georg Schmenk

Heinz Georg Schmenk (* 1935 in Oberhausen - Sterkrade ) is a retired German foreign trade merchant who has so far published two novels as an author.

Life

The son of a family of master painters spent most of his youth in the Ruhr area . His activity as a foreign trade merchant meant that he lived in India , Kuwait , Mexico , Libya and Iran for decades . Schmenk's first novel Ein Dussel is always there was published in 2007 by Henselowsky Boschmann publishing house in the Ruhr area . The author wrote the original version in 1986 during a mission in Libya when his passport was taken away and he could no longer leave the country.

In 2011 the novel Vom Pott bis Pondicherry followed: How Felix came to India, published by Nicole Schmenk. The plot, based on personal experiences, takes place mainly in India in the 1960s.
