Heinz Giehring

Heinz Giehring is a German legal scholar.

Life

He studied in Berlin and Tübingen . After receiving his doctorate in 1970 at the Free University of Berlin , he taught there as an assistant professor. From 1973 to 2002 he taught as a professor for criminal law at the University of Hamburg .

His main research interests are sanctions law, political criminal law and didactics of criminal law education.
