Heinz Rothe is a former German referee .

Rothe was a referee in the GDR league and the amateur league. In 1979 he was a referee at the first GDR's best determination in women's football.

He has currently been Chairman of the FLB Referees Committee since 2006. He is also a member of the NOFV referee committee.
