Helga Kiel

Helga Kiel is a German association official.

Career

Kiel works as a vocational school teacher at a regional vocational training center in Kiel. Two of her three children live with disabilities.

From 2004 to 2012 she headed the Advisory Board for People with Disabilities of the City of Kiel. She is chairman of the Schleswig-Holstein regional association for physically handicapped people and people with multiple disabilities. On October 10, 2010, she was elected as the first woman to chair the Federal Association for People with Disabilities and Multiple Disabilities (bvkm).
