Helga Wieser

Helga Wieser (born August 9, 1940 in Salzburg ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) as well as a farmer and innkeeper. Wieser was a member of the National Council from 1971 to 1986 .

After completing compulsory school, Wieser attended agricultural vocational and technical college and was subsequently active as a farmer and innkeeper. From 1970 she was also a member of the chamber council and board member of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry for Salzburg and held the function of regional farmer of Salzburg and federal farmer. Furthermore, from 1976 she worked as the regional director of the Austrian women's movement of the ÖVP Salzburg and represented the ÖVP in the National Council between November 4, 1971 and December 16, 1986.
