The Heli-Sport CH-77 Ranabot is a helicopter from the Italian manufacturer CH-7 Heli-Sport Srl .

History and construction

After the success with the CH-7 Angel and its further developments, the CH-7 Kompress , Heli-Sport decided to develop a new two-seater helicopter, whereby the occupants should not sit close to one another as with the Kompress , but next to one another. The result was the CH-77 Ranabot developed from the CH-7 . The helicopter consists of a welded tubular steel frame on which a composite cabin is mounted, which can be entered through side doors. The helicopter is powered either by a Rotax 914 H or a Rotax 917 Ti with 95 kW each. The main rotor is made of composite materials.
