A helmet of Tsar Michael I is now kept in the Kremlin Museum.

description

The helmet is of the Turkish or Persian Kulah Khud or Chichak type. He resembles this type with no particular deviations. The helmet bell is covered with gold engravings ( niello ). Among the motifs are three crowns and sayings ( suras ) from the Koran , which are located below the tip of the helmet. Gemstones and pearls are attached in sockets all over the helmet . At the upper end of the nose iron there is a plate with enamel work , which is made in the shape of the Archangel Michael . The inside is lined with a fabric pad.
