Helmut Krüger (politician)
Helmut Krüger (born January 16, 1920 in Lemgo ; † May 29, 2010 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending elementary school and secondary school with the completion of secondary school, he completed a commercial training . Professionally, he worked as a tobacco wholesaler and fur manufacturer.
Political activity
Krüger had been a member of the CDU since 1959. He was active in numerous party committees, so u. a. Chairman of the CDU district association Lemgo.
From December 7, 1972 to May 27, 1975, Krüger was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He moved up on the reserve list of the CDU.
He was a member of the Lemgo City Council from 1961 to 1972, and was honorary mayor from 1969 to 1971 .
In 1987, Krüger was awarded the honorary senator of the Lippe University of Applied Sciences (today: Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences ), namely "because of his special contribution to the establishment and development of the FH".
