Hemed Mlawa
Hemed Mlawa is a Tanzanian chess player . He has held the title of FIDE Master since 2018 .
The Tanzania team took part in a chess Olympiad for the first time in 2014 with Mlawa participating . Mlawa scored 4 points from 10 games at the chess Olympiads in 2014 and 2016 , and 6.5 points from 10 games in 2018 .
In 2017 he was able to achieve the title of national individual champion of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam .
His Elo rating is 1825 (as of January 2018). This puts him in first place in the Tanzanian Elo ranking. His highest rating was 1825 in March 2017.
