The North Rhine-Westphalian State Stud in Warendorf traditionally organizes the “Warendorf Stallion Parade” every year on three (previously four) days at the end of September and beginning of October. The employees of the state stud, some in historical parade uniforms, present around one hundred breeding stallions from warm-blooded to cold-blooded horses in a three-hour show, who show their vitality and skills in dressage and driving demonstrations individually, in groups or as teams with musical accompaniment should ask.

These state stallions' performance shows were originally intended only for breeders, but quickly developed into events that are also very popular with the specialist audience.
