Henri Carayol
Henri Carayol (* 1953 ) is a French mathematician who studies number theory.
Carayol received his doctorate in 1984 from the University of Paris (Courbes de Shimura, formes automorphes et représentations galoisiennes). He teaches at the University of Strasbourg .
He deals with modular forms and modular Galois representations.
In 1984 he was at the Institute for Advanced Study .
