Henri d'Escoubleau, comte de Montluc
Henri d'Escoubleau de Sourdis († June 6, 1712 ), Count of Montluc and Carmain, Prince of Chabanais , came from the family of knights d'Escoubleau de Sourdis , who came from Poitou . His parents were Charles d'Escoubleau, marquis de Sourdis et d'Alluye (* 1588; † December 21, 1666) and Jeanne de Montluc et de Foix († May 2, 1657), daughter of Adrien de Montluc-Montesquiou.
D'Escoubleau de Sourdis was a French officer under King Louis XIV in the course of the Palatinate War of Succession 1688-1697. He was married to Marguerite le Lièvre without children. Henri d'Escoubleau de Sourdis died ruined and in debt.
