Henrik Schnegas

Henrik Schnegas (* 1966 in Rostock ) is a German engineer and university professor . Since 2003 he has held a professorship for construction / apparatus technology at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Wismar .

Schnegas initially worked as a machine and system fitter from 1983. From 1989 to 1994 Schnegas studied construction technology at the University of Rostock , where he received his PhD in 2002 with the dissertation cost and reliability-based design models of mechanical engineering products . received his doctorate. After completing his studies, he worked as a technical customer advisor, production engineer and quality officer in industrial and shipbuilding plant construction.

In 2003 he received the professorship at the University of Wismar. His main research interests are safety, service life, reliability and costs of technical products.
