Henryk Piotr Wieczorek (born December 14, 1949 in Chorzów , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

Career

Henryk Wieczorek began his career in the youth team of the Stadion Śląski club in his hometown. In 1968 ROW Rybnik signed him , where he played for the next five years.

In 1973 he moved to Górnik Zabrze . For this club he completed 185 league games in which he scored eighteen goals. In 1980 he went to France to AJ Auxerre , where he came to sixty-one missions in two seasons.

In the summer of 1982 he then moved to the French club US Melun , where he ended his professional career in 1986.

Wieczorek has been called up 17 times for the Polish national team, for which he scored two goals.

Wieczorek was part of the Polish team at the 1974 World Cup and the 1976 Olympic Games .
