Herbert Rosner (* 1950 in Bernburg (Saale) ) is a German artist. His artistic work ranges from painting, assemblages, sculptures and collaged works to linocut prints. He has also been writing poetry since the 1990s.

Life

Herbert Rosner has lived in Cologne since 1958. From 1968 he studied at the Cologne factory schools and graduated in 1972 with an exam and diploma, in 1976 he became a master class student with Marianne Kohlscheen-Richter. From 1991 to 1994 he worked as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in the design course and was involved in founding the Kunstverein Köln rechtsrheinisch (KKr) in 1994. From 1996 to 2015 he was an art teacher at the Archbishop's Vocational College in Cologne. Since 1996 he has been the curator of the St. Clemens Art Forum.
