The Herkulesberg ("Mont Klamott") is the largest of a total of eleven mountains of rubble in the Cologne city ​​area. The hill in the Neustadt-Nord district has an absolute height of 72.2 m above sea level. It rises approx. 25 m above its direct neighborhood. The Herkulesberg was laid out on an area of ​​around 130,000 square meters, on which most of the inner city rubble was heaped up.
