Hermógenes Valente Fonseca (born November 4, 1908 in Rio de Janeiro , † unknown) was a Brazilian national soccer player .
career
Hermógenes started his career at Andarahy AC in Rio de Janeiro. At the age of 19 he moved to America FC in Rio. For this he played most of his games.
His career in the national team began at the 1930 World Cup . Here he took part in both of the team's games. Then again in 1931 to the Copa Río Branco, where Uruguay could be defeated as the first reigning world champion.
