Hermann Kleen

Hermann Kleen (born September 5, 1956 in Nortmoor ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ). From 1995 to 2007 he was a member of the Bremen Parliament and from July 2007 to July 2015 the spokesman for the Bremen Senate .

biography

education and profession

After graduating from high school, he initially worked as a volunteer and later as a local editor from 1976 to 1981 . From 1981 to 1986 he studied law at the University of Osnabrück and completed his studies with the first state examination in law. From 1986 to 1989 he was a research assistant at the University of Osnabrück. This was followed by a job with the Bremen Senator for the Interior until 1992 and then in the administration of the Bremen citizenship until he became a member of the citizenship in 1995. Before that he was head of the press and public relations department ( press spokesman ) in the administration of the Bremen citizenship . After his time as Senate Spokesman, he became head of the organizational communication department of the citizenship in November 2015.

He was since June 8, 1995 a member of the citizenry. In the citizenry, he was represented in the following committees, among others: Works Committee Building and Technology Management, Control Committee according to the Police Act, State Advisory Board for Sport, Temporary Committee "Review of an electoral law amendment in the State of Bremen", Parliamentary Control Commission, Legal Committee, Committee of Inquiry to investigate alleged neglect the official guardianship and child welfare through the Office for Social Services. At the end of the 16th legislative period , Kleen left the citizenry. At the same time he was chairman of the SPD local association Bremen-Huchting until 2007. From July 2007 to July 2015 he was Senate Spokesman for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen for Mayor Jens Böhrnsen ; his successor was André Städler.
