Hermann Passavant

Hermann Passavant (born July 30, 1864 in Darmstadt ; † 1940 ) was a German electrical engineer.

Hermann Passavant studied electrical engineering at the TH Darmstadt with Erasmus Kittler , started at the AEG in 1890 and went to the Berlin electricity works in 1891, in whose development he played a key role over the next four decades. With the transition to the Städtische Elektrizitätswerke Berlin , he became its director. In 1922 he became managing director of the Association of Electricity Works (VDEW).
