The Petite Sauldre is a river in France , in the Center-Val de Loire region . Its source is in the Parassy municipality , about 240 meters above sea level. The river first drains to the northwest, then turns to the west and flows after 63 kilometers northeast of Salbris as a left tributary into the Grande Sauldre , which changes its name to Sauldre from here . On its way, the Petite Sauldre crosses the Cher and Loir-et-Cher departments .
