Hermann Reinhardt (civil servant)

Hermann Reinhardt (* 1898 ; † 1972 ) was a German civil servant.

Life

After studying and doing his doctorate in law, Reinhardt worked in the Reich Finance Administration from 1925 to 1933. He then worked in the Reich Ministry of Economics from 1933 to 1945, where he was Ministerial Director from 1942. Between 1945 and 1950 (exact dates are not known) he was city director in Gronau / Westphalia. From 1950 to 1964 he worked in the Federal Ministry of Economics. First as a ministerial director, from 1953 he was ministerial director and head of Department V (foreign trade). In 1966 he was awarded the Great Federal Cross of Merit with a Star and in 1951 the Grand Cross of the Order for Services to Agriculture and Commerce .
