Hermann Stakkelwege

Hermann Stakkelwege (* before 1381, † before October 22, 1410 ) was a priest and official in Cologne .

Stakkelwege, who came from Kalkar , was Dr. leg. and Bac. decr. That is, he was trained for imperial and ecclesiastical ( decretalism ). Since 1381 advocate of the Cologne Curia, he acted from 1389 to around 1410 as professor of law at the old Cologne University , whose rector he became in 1392 for a quarter. Appointed official of the Archdiocese of Cologne in 1401, he renounced his canonical at the collegiate church in Wissel shortly before April 26, 1409 and was then provost to St. Georg in Cologne.
