Hermann Vincke
Hermann Vincke († around 1429) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
The merchant Hermann Vincke was a member of the Lübeck Schonenfahrer and in 1406 their senior man . He was a member of the citizens' committee of the 60s and is proven as councilor after the expulsion of the old council in 1408 in the new council in 1411 and 1414 until the return of the old council in 1416. In 1411 he accompanied the Lübeck mayor Johann Growe as envoy of the New Lübeck Council to Bruges , in order to persuade the merchants in the Hanseatic Office in Bruges to recognize the New Council. In the wills of Lübeck citizens he is listed twice as a documentary witness .
Vincke was first married to Margarethe, a daughter of Hinrich Vriemann, a citizen of Lübeck. In his second marriage he married a daughter of Ludekin Lüneburg . He lived from 1392 to 1414 at Fischstrasse 21, then at Breiten Strasse 10 in Lübeck's old town .
