Hermann von Dremborn

Hermann von Dremborn (also Drimborn ; * 15th century in Aachen ; † around 1486 ibid) was aldermen and mayor of the imperial city of Aachen .

Live and act

Hermann von Dremborn came from a wealthy family who owned several houses in the best inner city location of Aachen. He himself also increased his real estate and was first mentioned as a member of the aldermen around 1470. In 1470, 1473 and 1477 von Dremborn was elected mayor of the Free Imperial City of Aachen.

Hermann von Dremborn was married to Christine Schanternel, with whom he had, among other things, the son and later mayor Johann von Drimborn . He found his final resting place in the Carmelite Church in Aachen. A street and a wooded area were named after the family in Aachen, where the Aachen Euregiozoo was later set up.
