Hermann von Merveldt

Hermann von Merveldt (* in the 14th century; † in the 14th or 15th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Hermann von Merveldt came from the Westphalian noble family von Merveldt , which has its eponymous ancestral seat in Merfeld and from which numerous well-known personalities have emerged, including 22 canons in the dioceses of Münster , Paderborn , Osnabrück and Hildesheim . The exact genealogical origin is not proven. The sources also do not provide any information about his life. On April 24, 1397 he was named as the canon of Münster.
