Ekhammar mansion
The Ekhammar manor is located in the Swedish municipality of Hjo, about seven kilometers north of the town of Hjo on the west bank of Lake Vättersee .
The wooden mansion was built in different stages. The ground floor dates from the first half of the 17th century, while the upper floors were built between 1808 and 1809. Two of the four wing buildings are from the 1630s, the other two side buildings were built in 1756.
In the vicinity of the manor house are older farm buildings belonging to the estate. The mill and sawmill were restored in the 1990s.
