Manor Route

The manor route is a cycle route on the Lower Rhine with border crossings into the Netherlands.

The approx. 500 km long tour leads to 50 palaces and castles. The route is signposted with a logo. It is divided into 15 individual sections, which lead to the interesting monuments as well as through picturesque river meadows and landscapes. The long-distance cycle path can begin or end at any point or be connected to the Niederrhein Route .

In the south, the route begins on the German side in Wachtendonk, continues in the eastern curve via Kerken , Issum , Alpen , Sonsbeck , Kervendonk , Kervenheim , Uedem to Goch in the north. In a westerly curve, the route goes via Venlo, along the Meuse to Arcen, Bergen, Heijen, Gennep, then crossing the Meuse to Cuijk, Grave, Reer, Mill, Overloon and back to Gennep via Boxmeer.
