Hertzton
Hertzton (own spelling HERTzTON ) is a music project founded in 2001 by the singer and author Markus Winter from Leverkusen (German state North Rhine-Westphalia ) . The music is difficult to classify as it covers areas from German rock to pop to new German hardness .
Band history
Markus Winter had already published music in English before that. With the song Longing for Fire he already had a hit in the Belgian and Dutch music charts in 1995 . In the meantime he also devoted himself to writing short stories, mostly crime novels. He is also currently working on a novel. Since 2001 he has been working with Hertzton . The debut album (untitled) was released in 2002. Then the group went on their first tour in a three-man cast. The second album with the title Schattentänzer was released in 2006. The band currently consists of Markus Winter (vocals, electric guitar , electric bass , keyboards ), Jonas Bentin (keyboards, programming ) and Milly Snow (drums). The third album Metamorphose , a remix compilation, was released in May 2007. Special attention is paid to emotional and direct lyrics.
