The heart-hand syndrome or atriodigital dysplasia comprises a group of congenital diseases with malformations of the upper extremities and the heart.
A division into the following forms is common:
- Holt-Oram Syndrome
- Heart-hand syndrome type 2 or Tabatznik syndrome
- Heart-hand syndrome type 3 also Spanish form or cardiomeles syndrome type 3
- Heart-hand syndrome, Slovenian type , autosomal dominant inheritance
While Holt-Oram syndrome is not that rare, the prevalence of the other types is less than 1 in 1,000,000.
