As cardiac enzymes are commonly known in the Laborchemie certain proteins , mostly enzymes called the damage to the heart muscle , for example as part of a heart attack or acute coronary syndrome can view.
At the most specific and fastest-rising is the cardiac troponin . Myoglobin , creatine kinase (CK with the heart-specific sub-fraction CK-MB), glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) are less specific and increase more slowly .
