history
The Lahr Heart Center emerged from a former hospital of the Canadian armed forces. In 1994 Kraichgau-Klinik AG bought it and founded the heart center. In 2002 the SanaVerbund took over the clinic. She has been part of MediClin AG since 2007 .

The heart center has 75 beds. Over 5,000 patients are treated there every year. More than 30,000 patients have had open heart surgery to date.
Treatment priorities
Cardiovascular diseases are diagnosed and treated in the heart center. It covers the full spectrum of adult heart surgery with the exception of heart transplants. Operations on peripheral vessels are also performed.
