Hexanones
The hexanones are a group of six isomeric saturated ketones with six carbon atoms. They have the general formula C 6 H 12 O and a molar mass of 100.12 g · mol −1 .

- 3-methyl-2-pentanone (methyl sec- butyl ketone)
- 3,3-dimethyl-2-butanone (methyl tert-butyl ketone, pinacolone)
