Heywood Island is an island off the coast of the Western Australian province of Kimberley in the Indian Ocean.

Surroundings

Heywood Islands is surrounded by small rocks. To the south is bordered Byam Martin Iceland to, on the north the larger island of Vulcan Islet.

Birds

Heywood Island is occasionally visited by a few spotted fruit pigeons that migrate in search of food.
