HighWire Press is an American magazine article archive. Over 1,700 scientific journals, including leading journals such as the Journal of Biological Chemistry , Science , the Journal of Neuroscience, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, are published in their online edition on Highwire Press.

HighWire Press was founded in 1995 by Stanford University Library and was partially acquired by Accel-KKR in 2014 .

A large proportion of the articles are freely accessible.
