The 50 High Street building is a Grade I listed house in Salisbury , England .

It is in the center of Salisbury on the west side of the High Street. Crane Street joins south of the house.

Architecture and history

The three-story house was built in the 16./17. Century in half-timbered construction and was structurally changed in the 18th century. To the east to High Street the facades of the upper floors are clad with clapboards, to the south to Crane Street only the top floor is clad. The south side of the first floor is bricked and painted white. Some of the windows date back to the 18th century. A shop is set up on the ground floor.

It has been listed as a monument since February 28, 1952 and is listed as a building of national importance and special interest in the Grade II category of the English list of monuments .
