location

It is in the center of Salisbury on the west side of the High Street. Crane Street joins north of the house.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house goes on the 14th / 15th. Century back. The upper floor is largely original. Due to the partly very strong beams and the partly crooked half-timbered construction, the appearance is impressive. The upper floor protrudes slightly over the ground floor. The ground floor itself has been completely changed with the addition of shops.

There are three gables to the east of the High Street . To the north to Crane Street, the house comprises six containers and stands on the eaves; in the middle of the roof there is a dwelling . To the west is a massive brick extension with a window from the 19th century.

The building has been listed as a monument since February 28, 1952 and is listed as a particularly significant building of general interest in category II * of the English list of monuments .
