Hijab

Hijab is the English transcription of Arabic حِجَاب and denotes:

  • Hijab , in the narrower sense an Islamic headscarf, in the broader sense any item of clothing that serves to fulfill the requirement of shielding - such as the veil, niqab or the burqa
  • Riyad Farid Hijab (* 1966), Syrian politician
