On August 5, 2007, the athlete , who started for Kegelfreunde Oberthal , won the gold medal at the World Championships in Eupen, Belgium . With 36 appearances, he is the record German national player.
Hilbert Wagner was involved in all 15 championship titles for Kegelfreunde Oberthal in the Bundesliga, including 10 championship titles in a row.
