Hildmannsfeld is a district of Rheinmünster in Baden-Württemberg .
First documented in 1314 as "Hildeboldsfelde", the place name is probably derived from a personal name. Hildmannsfeld was probably created as an extension of the early monastery period.
The place formed a church and political community with Schwarzach early on . Abbot Martin von Schwarzach suppressed efforts to separate in 1565 with the words that "those of Hildmannsfeld, like von Alters hero, should be and remain in the Burgschaft Schwarzach". In the middle of the 18th century, disputes over the separation of the districts began. It was determined that the Schwarzacher Mühlbach should henceforth be the border guard of both districts. In 1811 Hildmannsfeld was placed under a staff holder who later became mayor. In 1938 the union with Schwarzach took place. The municipal coat of arms with the "zodiac sign of the bull, a sign similar to the number 8" is not indicated. The chapel, which burned down several times, was rebuilt for the last time in 1732 and placed under the pastorate of St. Wolfgang .
