Hillevåg kirke

At the end of the 18th century the area was bought by Fredrik Pettersen, who ran a mill in the Mosvatnet stream. This eventually passed to the Køhler family, who expanded the property to include five mills, a brewery and a ship's workshop. In 1885 the municipality of Stavanger bought Hillevåg gård from Johan Adam Køhler.

In 1961 the Hillevåg kirke church was built.
