Hillsboro Civic Center

The Hillsboro Civic Center is until December 2004, built in the public contract for 33.5 million US dollars from July 2003, and in mixed use befindlicher, six-storey building complex in Hillsboro in Oregon . It houses Washington County's administrative headquarters as well as retail, residential, and public spaces . The central element of the building complex is the Washington County City Hall with two adjacent plazas. The 15,300 m² Hillsboro Civic Center has 18 solar modules on the roof and is 42% more energy efficient than comparable buildings, for which it received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED certification in gold for ecological construction after its completion .
